Up to 2020, Joe's life of touring and recording 3-centuries-old music was witnessed by neighbours only as he trudged to the tube under the weight of his cello. Last year, though, his audience suddenly became entirely new and local and, after a neighbourly encounter at a lock-down-induced, semi-legal street concert, Joe here makes his debut as film music composer-performer.
You can find him playing with The English Concert, or enjoy his marvellous musical medicine on Spotify.

The filmmakers are grateful to Framestore, where Adam Stannard and Steffan Perry did an excellent colour grading job, and Audio Uproar, where Matt Coster and Ben Wood made beautiful stereo from our humble beginnings.
Original music is by Joseph Crouch, performed on an 18th Century cello and recorded in Richard Neville's front room with an iPad. Amazing what you can do these days, isn't it?
